Julie Wenzlick is a former high school English teacher and a lifelong poet.

Now the proud grandmother of two little girls, Julie at last found the time to get her children’s book ideas into print.

Jaime
Buckley

Author | Illustrator | Dad of 12

Professional bloggers call Jaime Buckley a superdad, parenting ninja and one of the most genuine personalities online.

He’d prefer to be known for breeding dragons, training heroes, collecting rare magical artifacts and entertaining youth around the world.

Truth is, Jaime is best known for his YA Fantasy world: Wanted Hero, including the Chronicles of a Hero series, featuring the awkward, yet ever-so-charming hero by accident, Wendell P. Dipmier.

With over three decades as a professional illustrator, he was hired byJulie Wenzlick to create the art behind The Day Annabelle was Bitten by a Doodlebug; and The Day Maisie Picked a Daisy. The working relationship quickly formed into friendship and Julie has retained Jaime as the artist for her Annabelle series.

Julie is one of those rare clients who has it all: talent, intelligence, a clever sense of humor and a true passion for entertaining children. I love that about her. Working with Julie has been more than a pleasure…it’s been a privilege and absolute honor. When she asked me to do a second book with her, I jumped at the chance to work on a script even more brilliant than the first! – Jaime Buckley

Jaime lives in Utah, with his wife, Kathilynn, and their seven kids still at home.

Those are children, not goats.
